  • 2008 – Asif Ali Zardari, co-chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, was acquitted of charges of rape in Pakistan.

  • 1879 – Albert Einstein, the wealthy scientist who gave the theory of relativity to the world, was born in a middle-class family of Ulm city in Germany.
  • 1913 – S. Of Pottakkakt, the famous Malayalam writer.
  • 1965 – Indian film actor Amir Khan was born. Aamir played the role of a child artist for the first time in the memoirs’ procession film.

  • 1883 – Karl Marx was a famous German philosopher, economist and scientist of scientific socialism.
  • 1963 – Janarayan Vyas, the Chief Freedom Fighter of India, former Chief Minister of Rajasthan and famous politician of ‘Indian National Congress’.
  • 2018 – British physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking dies at the age of 76.
