  • 1918 – Battle of the Bear Valley: The battle between the Red Indians and the American soldiers is the battle of ‘Battle of Beer Valley’.

  • 1934 – Mahendra Kapoor, famous playback singer from Hindi cinema.
  • 1968 – Former West Indies captain and batsman Jimmy Adams was born. He scored 3012 in 54 Tests and 2204 runs in ODIs.

  • 1983 – Sharad Malhotra, Indian television actor.
