  • 1807 – The US Congress banned the import of slaves in the country by passing a law. This was a significant step towards the end of slave practice.

  • 1962 – General led by Win, Army occupy Burma’s power.
  • 1969 – First flight of supersonic aircraft Concorde was successful. These aircraft flew with tollos and after just 27 minutes flight, the pilot decided to take it off.

  • 2010 – More than five thousand people padded up the stairs in front of the Sydney Opera House in a program organized by Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, and paused for American photographer Spencer Tunik.
  • 2012 – In Germany, the court dismissed the patent lawsuit between Apple and Samsung.
  • 2014 – President Vladimir Putin decided to send troops to Ukraine after ratification from the parliament of Russia.
